I am a textile artist working to explore the concept of rhythm. I aim to create pieces inspired by the Japanese forms and processes that investigate notions of strength, movement and tension through a manipulation of paper, fabric and thread. Repeated substances are central to my practice: all the works involve aspects of stitching, weaving, folding, joining, tying or pleating.
